This was filmed in 2015. The chicken taco Janelle was eating is an iteration of the Crispy Chicken Sandwich Taco that was only just introduced in 2021. A taco bell specialty 6 years in the making.

I guarantee Conan isn't like this to regular women he meets. This is him 100% playing to an audience, being cringe for the lulz. Without the cameras, it's just creepy, and he knows it, and that's what he's playing off of. Even then, the other 2 ladies seemed kind of unsure how to react most of the time. I think that's probably why Conan went really over the top with most of this. You'd think the marketing manager and "innovation chef" of a company like Taco Bell would both have big personalities like Conan, but not these ladies. He had to really go over the top just to save this bit. And he did it.

Anytime I’m down, here it exists, and it makes me laugh every time. Thank you so much for this Update: been going through a really tough time in terms of an abusive ex spouse and custody issues, and again I come back to KZbin and type the words Conan and Taco Bell and I know this is silly, but it’s always here for me It brings joy at a time when, Joy doesn’t seem to be possible. What I love about Conan - especially this piece is that it’s not mean spirited or cynical. When you think about the subject, so many comedians couldn’t help themselves to resort to cruelty. So I’m sure you hear this a lot from fans and I doubt you’ll read this, But sometimes you feel like you’re stuck and for me laughter is the best medicine… this amazing free gift is easily accessible for me and I have a note on my phone that just says Conan and Taco Bell - The subject line reads “whenever you feel hopeless”. I can’t begin to express my gratitude for this video and particular as it has saved my life on at least two occasions. It’s a reminder that laughter certainly is the best medicine but only if it’s done with kindness and love.
