That's a fact! 👍 I've seen the most amazing documentaries over the last few years on KZbin. They didn't have the biggest budget- but they had a good camera, they were adept at photography and editing, and they had the nerve to get out there and get some great footage. Produced a beautiful documentary, often on subjects I've never seen covered.

Agree. There are some very good content creators here. And if you're interested in history or food or travel, there's really a lot to choose from. I don't even watch those television channels - but will sometimes watch some of the content creators here working with those topics...because it's so well done.

I am 90% sure that Conan would binge watch this one guy on youtube with a channel called Tasting History with Max Miller, he basicly takes a historical event and investigate what they ate and then make it, e.g what was the first meal people who came to Ellis Island ate in the early 1900.

You can watch documentary channels on KZbin now that really give you the vibe of how the History and Discovery channels were back in the 90s and 00s. Real well researched stuff, not overproduced talking heads on shows about ancient aliens. And there’s tons of them, so if you don’t like one or you think it’s biased, there’s 20 others you can check out. TV is corny and dead.

It’s a platform that facilitates high information, narrow target audience content. Just like cable television enabled niche channels that cater to more specific viewer interests, KZbin provides even more niche programming, which is great for topics that one might be educated in, and mainstream media is too elementary to satisfy them.

At this point youtube provides actual tv. Most of my subscriptions are 3-12 hour videos of Saturday morning cartoon broadcasts from the nineties, they even have the old commercials. If you miss classic tv, its on youtube. Tv in the last decade has been absolute garbage
