Isn't the "anger on both sides" more about one 'side' wanting to be cruel to various people and angry that they exist, and the other 'side' angry that those people are being unjustly cruel to people who've done nothing? I really dislike 'both sides' stuff, like saying ultimately nazis and their victims were the same because they're both angry at each other on both sides. There is often an instigator who causes anger, and there's nothing productive achieved by dancing around that.

You just explained in a nut shell how both sides feel from there perspectives about each other. Every side instigates, every side thinks the other side is the greatest evil and they’re the hero’s. no one ever sees them selves as the bad guy, it’s all based on perspective and point of view. Hitler genuinely thought he was doing the right thing and so did all of his followers, that’s why ww2 started, I’m obviously not defending his actions, that would be Ludacris, all I’m saying is one man’s villain is another man’s hero. 2 put it in simpler terms, lex Luthor thinks by plotting 2 take down Superman he’s doing the right thing cause he thinks he’ll eventually destroy humanity. Magneto thinks he’s doing the right thing by trying 2 eradicate non mutants because of what happened 2 him during ww2. It’s all based on perspective

@@nathanaelshoemaker693 The reason I put "sides" in quote is because there aren't "two sides" on a 1 dimensional spectrum for all opinions in life which you need to find 'balance' on both sides of. Three plane crash survivors can want to walk in equally different directions. Most alliances in life are groups of different people with different objectives. I'm not from the US, and right now it's very obvious that one group is repeatedly instigating and putting themselves in the way of solutions to many pressing problems, and they are enabled by people looking for 'balance' in those not like them to absolve them of responsibility.

You have an outside opinion on my country’s politics, same as I would have one on yours. We can both read articles and watch videos all day about the main issues our country’s have and what it’s like living there, but it’s very different from living there day 2 day. I personally don’t have any political affiliation, there’s a lot of things the majority of both sides think that I don’t agree with. That’s also why I think it’s stupid that while there are multiple political party’s here it’s really just a 2 party system. I’ve always been a very “it’s not something that will affect me now or in the future, so I don’t get 2 have an opinion on it” kind of person, if that makes me close minded I guess that’s what I am.

Conan mentions "that idea" and the Civil War, which coincidentally started on the very same day, April 12, 1861 at Ft. Sumter.
