Before that he was a regular on The Daily Show, and before that he was on Strangers with Candy, and before that The Dana Carvey Show from way back in 1996. The dude has been writing and performing televised comedy almost as long as Conan and is certainly in the same generation as most of the writers and performers who worked with Conan right from the start.
