@Bobby Brady what does a transmission being compressed mean? Also do you know what camera Colbert is using?
@boppob1343
@boppob1343 3 жыл бұрын
@@kaddou1 you know how files that you download are in a zip file and you have to extract them? That's because in order to limit the size of the download, which is so people can download it much quicker, the computer compresses the file into a zip file which is essentially the computer file equivalent of those bags that you seal and vacuum all the air out of to make it as small and storage-friendly as possible. So when you hear about a video having compression or compression artifacts, that's it doing the same thing but for a video. Ever see those pixels on a lower quality video before? Those are compression artifacts, meaning that they are a result of a computer or website compressing the video in order to lower it's bandwidth use for efficiency purposes. Conan's video however, it's mostly just it being a lower quality camera. It's like a 1080p30fps or even just a 720p60fps camera. Im sure there is some compression happening from when his computer streamed it/saved it, but it's mostly just the video being low quality in the first place.

Conan doesn’t have to be doing these shows from his home I think he genuinely likes entertaining people and isn’t doing it for the money or anything like that which is why I think that makes him the best talk show host of our generation

Maybe they had to or maybe they did it out of an abundance of caution. Pretty crazy world if you can get sued for reading some lines you wrote and suggesting you wanted to put them to the tune of a song but didn't.

Stephen and Conan are crushing it these days, broadcasting from their respective homes, and the two Jimmys are failing miserably. They seem totally out of place and uncomfortable. Stephen and Conan manage to pull it off, despite the circumstances. I think it's because they have DECADES of experience as comedy writers, and they're experts at improv comedy
