The Accent you hear is not the Irish accent, there are easily over 50 different highly distinguishable accents in Ireland. West Cork, Limerick and Dublin would be 3 that sound completely different for example.

Yeah allthough I do feel that it would have been just a little bit better if he would've actually given it a real try. Ant & Dec, a rather famous duo on British television did something similar and where I really expected thém to just make a complete joke out of it, they really went up for the challenge and delivered something good.
