It’s far easier to come up with a funny quip when you are a passive listener to a conversation and Gourley, much like Andy has the smarts to come up with brilliant one liners while listening to a conversation. What makes Conan special and essentially stand out is his ability do the same and then even act out a hilarious bit out of it all while having an active conversation with the guest. Gourley is brilliant and has certainly earned his place on the podcast(definitely more than Sona) but can’t really compare with Conan who has a very unique and rare skill plus 30+ years of honing it!
