Watch enough Conan and you realize that they aren't scripted, BUT I'm pretty sure they know what jokes and anecdotes they are going to tell before the show, and Conan always gives his guest the right segue.

Nick Pineiro Well that's every late night show. They don't have a teleprompter or memorize lines. They just know, okay we're gonna talk about this, then you tell this story, then segue into the thing you're promoting, Conan will ask this question.... and they fill in the details on the fly.

I think Conan is at his personal best when he's improvising. You can sort of see it in his travelling bits. He meets so many people then, he can't possibly rehears everything. Obviously they only choose the best bits, but he has to deliver enough for them to choose from. I also love it when he's being interviewed and answers questions from an audience. These usually aren't edited and you can see how good he is as a one-man-act. Just a class guy.

Colin is Tom Hanks son. He has been in several movies(two with Jack Black) and quite a few tv shows including one he starred in on FOX called the Good Guys with Bradley Whitford. That show was hillarious but shortlived. still waiting for the DVD. FOX has a tendency to not release sgows with cult followings on DVD Firefly being one exception. Check out The Great Buck Howard Starring Colin Hanks, John Malcovich, Emily Blunt Steve Zahn, and Tom Hanks.

I wish Conan hadn’t interrupted him so much trying to get a laugh. I wanted to hear what the man had to say and he kept having to do it in snippets because Conan kept busting in. I must say, though, Colin was very patient and gracious. Just like his Dad. And, I’ve always thought Tom was very handsome and so is his son. I have never seen Colin interviewed before; he was very modest about the George Clooney thing; Tom Hank’s kid is a bigger deal than he thinks he is! I think he turns a few heads, too.

TokyoKazama I have seen Batman and Robin. I'm one of those who doesn't hate it, but I don't love it either. It's an okay movie. I saw it on TV when I was in high school. I found George Clooney to be meh on that movie.
