The more I see from MHW, the more I get remembered what a great game it is. And that I can be happy, that it was my first MH Game. The quality, the details, the sound design.. its just such a great mh game imo. I really hope and wish that MH6 will be like World again, in terms of high graphic-quality, high sound-quality, high amount of details and high amount of love put into the game. (Just alone the rooms you can have in World/Iceborne and how much you can customize it with music, furniture and on top of that.. the "animals" you can catch and place into it.. and even on top of that again the fact, some animals are rare to find or only spawn at certain time on the map etc.. I love it.) That all + the amount and variety of good monsters and event quests (even if I really enjoyed the seasonal events in world! they really were great) from older games, and it would be the best mh game of all time, to me at least. I know there are fans and veteran players, that like the older games more.

Of all things, I'm a little sad the damage didn't start power creeping upwards so that furious Rajang was over 9000. That's my only regret. I wouldn't mind being reduced to cinders from a 3,000,000 blast from Fatalis, as long as Rajang got that much.

This is amazing, some incredible scenes like the Raging Brachydios. I think the initial hit is what matters though as some of the damage of these attacks would be mitaged by invicibility frames after being hit initially. I could be wrong though.

I assume that these are the strongest attack for each monster, so shouldn't Alatreon's have been his unweakened phase transition, i.e. when you don't deal enough elemental damage and "lose"? I'm pretty curious how that would stack up to the rest of the big kill moves honestly.
@jacqli93152 жыл бұрын
No, escaton judgement should be % damage so it didn't have much base damage like fatalis fire breath You can survive with naked no armor with 4 people using wide range then eating jerky, healing, etc to outpace the full damage escaton U can't survive with full armor with all that healing against fatalis and others
@sharlesdaviskendy23912 жыл бұрын
@@jacqli9315 Escaton Judgement can be survived because the damage ticks are relatively slow. The damage is still pretty high. Probably higher than the attack they showed.

as a normal2 and normal3 lbg user, am still stuck on that one and my only way to deal elemental damage would be to restart the game from the begening with a new weapon to masterise that can do elemental damages... also I still have no friends so thats also an issue...
@skivvac Жыл бұрын
@@SpeedyGwen I mean you don't have to restart the game, you just have to grind out an elemental build (ice if Alatreon is starting in fire, fire if Alatreon is starting in ice). Then you can get the weakens so judgement doesn't murder you, and make sure to go for one horn break per phase so that Alatreon doesn't swap element after judgement.

Shame that we can't know the damage from older games. I always wondered how much damage the ultra beam of Nakarkos dealt. Enough to kill you through valor stance at least.
@dragskcinnay31842 жыл бұрын
I believe valor stance always left you alive if it absorbed the attack, so even if you had 1hp you would still be able to survive any attack (as long as valor stance actually absorbs the attack); so I think - if it is in fact correct that the Nakarkos beam is strictly unsurvivable through valor stance, which I personally can't verify since I've never fought him - that it would be that it outright ignored valor stance and hit you through it.

@@dragskcinnay3184 the attack might have multiple ticks of it's damage being applied so you might get put to 1hp with the first hit in VS but than hit again, dead.
@dragskcinnay31842 жыл бұрын
@@Willow4526 it's possible, but when you absorb an attack with valor stance, after absorbing, you have i-frames I'm pretty sure. So if the multiple hits were the explanation, you would valor sheath the attack, and then get killed at the end of the animation, which I don't think is what he meant So I think there is some other mecanism that bypasses valor stance, maybe something like the fact that the attack has a big hitbox, so it would sort of hit you from every direction (valor stance can't absorb attacks that come from behind iirc) ; the attack might have multiple tics of damage as well, but I don't think that's why it kills through valor stance
@Willow45262 жыл бұрын
@@dragskcinnay3184 yeah fair enough, good points. So depending on if that animation/IFrames are still occuring is probably the key hint needed, if they aren't than yeah it's doing one of the many thing you've mentioned, I think for simplicity's sake it would probably just be applying damage directly to health without any other factors being considered. Either way, thing one shots ya haha.
