It is an odd reference to use in Killing Eve, but I guess meant as a treat to people who love the movie too. It is an out of nowhere joke by the writers. There aren't many in the show. It's American shows that always refer to other shows and characters.

Their relationship is incredibly toxic, but when we have a show that’s about a loveable sociopath, I guess we have to throw that out the window haha. I think that they both change each other for the better, and should end up together. They’ll definitely see each other again! And I’m glad that they had more scenes than in season 1, hopefully that continues. And lastly, I totally agree about them getting recognized for their work, especially Jodie!

Anyway, I also observe Sandra's hard work, which builds her character according to her situation.
