Manual don’t state you need a .50 Or 1.3mm hex. Also Shock pliers should also be added to the tools needed.

Hi Frank. Good video tutorial. By the way, can we use Damper Seals inside the shock after filling in the oil ? Something like Tamiya Kits, they use damper Seals. Thanks for your reply.

There are a number of things you have to do to these shocks to keep them from leaking. First, you have to sand the shock spacer down from 2.85 to 2.80 then soak the o-rings in oil overnight and make sure you are using the V2 orings. Then you must bleed the shocks to zero rebound and do not tighten down the bottom cap all the way, just till it is snug. The new shock caps from a performance standpoint are a must as well.

After building the shocks and installing them on my car by the time I went to the track and ran the car for the first time I noticed that the shocks were leaking excessively? I built them exactly how the manual shows you.

Hey there, I’m currently building this kit and and running into problems with too much negative rebound. I can’t seem to get rid of it with two of the four shocks. Also, im just wanted some clarity on the bottom ring with the groove. I think Ryan Harris said to put them with the groove facing inward toward the inside of the shock. Can you please clarify, as the manual doesn’t. Thank you

WHat is the performance difference in the 3m and 3.5m shocks?

Shocks are completely trash and leak badly even with v2 x-rings and bushings installed!
