Omg! I have several copies of that same doll. Found them on Ebay and didn't realize they were knockoffs until they arrived (which was dumb on my part, in retrospect). Mostly just used them for parts for sculptures. I LOVE the art of taking busted up old things and making them into something new. I'm a doll artist myself and the most satisfying customs are old busted / stained and well-loved dolls that can be "fixed" by making them into statues where their busted-up-ed-ness doesn't matter. I also usually incorporate old thrift store trinkets as well. They're cheap and, with a fresh coat of paint, can look positively beautiful! This is a beautiful project, as always! ❤️

Teamons! Such a cute idea! I've always loved the look of kintsugi (I may have spelled that wrong...), and this made me love it even more! It also made me realize I could do that with a broken tea saucer I have! The cup holds some of my jewerly

This is amazing!!! Idk if you did this on purpose, but darjeeling is an Indian tea and I really think this teamon has some cool Indian demon design elements! From the long black hair, to the black skin with red eyes, to the septum piercing, to the horns, to the multiple arms-- it all works out so well! As a south asian lady myself, I was super happy to see these seemingly Indian-inspired design elements come to life. One of my favorite works from you to date, for sure!

I love this. You might've had an easier time painting the eyes if you'd painted them white first, but that's long done and she turned out great. I just love the idea of Teamons so much. Have you checked out the adorable book series Tea Dragon Society and sequels? It's both similar and entirely different :) On to the next one!
