The best overall pvc rig I've seen, and I've seen many lol
@durazellpcgaming

Very well done video. What I like about the PVC is you could drill a one inch hole in different locations and run all your cables thru the pipe to the pc. Only thing I think you could do is make a monitor stand out of the same piping system and then it is independent of the rig. Then you will not have monitor shake. For a fraction of the price of a bought stand. Great job I have to say. Thank you so much for all the build details and comedy added in.

What an awesome video, the best Tutorial video I have ever seen. Music volume was spot on, most videos have loud music that can spoil the entire video. I really appreciated the level of detail you gave to help people replicate your work. I think your skill building set is way above an average person, but your explanation was brilliant, and the final product even better. Excellent Job.

That turned out very slick! Love it! I converted a old cruisin usa sit down can to a xbox 360 powered racer about 10 years ago. I bet the pvc racer would look cool with some led strips mounted to the Inside side of the pipes. They coild be powered straight from the ps3’s usb ports.

Yeah, that's something I should have mentioned. You could even have all the cables going through the pipes to have a nice clean build

Nice work Chicken man. I can’t be arsed to make this though. I have a set up for my kitchen table that works pretty well. Cost effective to because I already had the kitchen table 😂👍🏼

Hey Farley, thanks for the comment. If you're happy with the set up, then all is well :-) - I just got fed up of taking out the wheel and pedals whenever I wanted to play. Total faff.

Fantastic build! I would want a larger monitor, at least a 52-in flat screen TV probably. I also think I would mount the monitor on an independent pedestal, to reduce weight on the driving frame. I have a much simpler driving setup that I use with my projector, of course the picture is not as crisp but much more immersive covering most of the wall.
@TeamPandory
@TeamPandory Жыл бұрын
I think the size of monitor depends how close you are to it, and on the aspect ratio. If your face is pressed to it like mine was- I think 32 - 40 inches may be the sweet spot for regular arcade racing titles.
@vintagecapgunsatyourmomshouse
@vintagecapgunsatyourmomshouse Жыл бұрын
@@TeamPandory I think you're probably right. I have tried racing titles with the projector and sometimes it works and other times it actually made me a bit nauseous. Bigger isn't always better. I'd like to experiment with racing setups in VR as well.

Overall it's not bad set aside if I have spare time or not I think I go with lazy road by using 4-5 table with various height and length then lock it at some board or the floor or maybe not, the problem is chair I don't think make it fixed like that is good idea at least for me coz I am afraid I will bump the gear shift or the handbrake or somehow when I get out I get tangle by my own foot (this from my experience of course).

The whole thing with the pipes is that it can all be changed. Stick them together differently and you should be good

Nice build, great idea to use cheap pvc pipes. I bet with a VR headset it will be perfect. Wife: what happened to the passenger side seat in the car? why is the grass painted black?
@TeamPandory
@TeamPandory 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks man, it was nice to try and build it to plan and show others in the community that it can be built by someone that doesn't have a clue :-) With a VR set it'd be soo good, and if you look carefully- this seat actually IS the passenger seat. It was maybe 20$ cheaper. And yeah, she freaked out the next day about the grass.

Emu Chicken - great video as always - My question is how much would it be if you didn't have any of the parts (aside from the TV) in other words how much for the racing wheel, pedals, break, speakers?
@TeamPandory
@TeamPandory Жыл бұрын
Wheel, pedals, gear stick were a used set- around 100-150$, handbrake, um, 30$? Speakers 40$ - Will depend on location and the exact models you get though.

Maybe around 100$ or so for the pipes, then add the car seat and wheel controller. TBH it depends on where you buy everything. Take a look in your local hardware shop for the pipes, then check ebay for car seat and wheel prices.
