In 2019 according to my tracker, I used up 116 products total! I did include samples/single use items(25) and deluxe samples(21). Out of the 116, 22 were makeup and 43 were skincare. Not bad for me. I used up 101 in 2018.

Project planning had really made me reflect on my spending. I don't need to buy more blushes or highlighters when they take so long to use up!

Re: the the lip scrub: "What did you do? Did you eat it?" I had to laugh because Hailey always talks about eating (or wanting to eat) hers.

I actually do eat lip scrubs when they are just sugar and oil, this one left a balm type residue though so I didn’t think it would be good to eat 😆

Sixty products! That’s amazing! That’s 5 a month! That’s encouraging as I select my products this year. I did one last year, but only used 15, and most were skincare. I have a new plan to organize my makeup to hopefully help me along this year.

I'm excited to have my first weigh in. Like I've said before, I'm doing this as a way to get back into makeup. I've tried other ways but failed. It's hard when you're disabled and in a lot of pain to sit and do makeup. But I'm going to try again with the project pan. I just love the makeup I purchased to try to get going and want to play. So hopefully this will help encourage me. Fingers crossed.

I am very impressed with your project pan. You were the first beauty you tuber I found and trusted a few years ago when I got into makeup. I think of you everyday when I use my Rose Body shop shower wash. I then sit at my vanity and use my illamasqua blush, Marc Jacobs bronzer, Aspyn Ovard Tarte palette, Hourglass lipstick and CK2 perfume. (The first palette I bought without knowing what I was doing was Queen of Hearts and I didn’t realise what a treasure I had until you just discovered it!) I might also light one of my Glasshouse candles. I know I’ll think of more products as soon as I post this. Thank you for guiding the way on my beauty journey. It’s been a pleasure and I look forward to much more. I love Hailey too, but I have dark hair and eyes, so our colours match better.

I love doing Project Pans because it gives me at least a mild sense of accomplishment and making sure stuff doesn't go bad. I'm jumping in on this one this year, though! I love how the spreadsheet has spots for weighing products. So useful!

I started the project pan with you in 2019 but finished it kind of in the middle of the year, because I used up/decluttered those products I wanted out of my stash and only those stayed that I really truly enjoy (I made the decision to only have 1-2 items in each category, so now my collection is very tiny now 🙂). I actually enjoyed tracking the progress with my items so I started a monthly weightcheck during the rest of the year and I will continue to do that next year as well ☺️ all in all 51 products got used up including my empties this year and I am very happy about it. Congratulations on your Project pan, it is amazing how successful it really was 😘 can't wait to see the intro to the next one.

I used up/decluttered 177 products. There were a lot of minis and lipsticks I decided didn't work for me, but pretty proud of myself! Going through my list, it looks like around 30 items were thrown out because they got old or I didn't like how they looked anymore.

Great work Kat! Seeing everything you used up is so motivating! I’m sad I didn’t keep track of what makeup/skincare products I used up this year.. But I’ll be fully joining you for project pan in 2020! Even though my collect is “smaller” I still need to give love to all my products and rotate. Hoping to hit lots of pan in 2020 😊

This project pan was great! As someone who loves hitting pan and getting well use for my makeup, I surprised myself when I hit pan (pretty big one) on 9 shades in my Naked heat palette in a month. And to be honest, that wasn't my favourite palette before, before the project pan I've done only a couple of looks with it, and left it completely out of my routine. I used and abused it.. now I'm getting tired of it and will do Sweet peach palette next.. I would appreciate seeing you create some looks with that palette (that everyone forgot about and we all loved it when it first came out).

Oh! Thank you for reminding me to count my list. Between deluxe-sized samples and full-sized products, I used up (or hit pan) on 62 products! If only for going through my skincare deluxe samples ALONE it was worth it. On to #TeamProjectPan2020. 💖

I did a project pan for 2019 but I didn't document progress or anything like that. This year I want to do a full documented project pan maybe on a blog or somthing. I'm in college so that may fall through the cracks, but I want to document my progress more as motivation. I have watched all your project pan videos, 2018 and 2019 were my favorite. 60-61 was my total too! :D I've got a couple of lists and I keep getting different totals lol This list includes sample sizes. Foundation - 2 , Mist - 12 ,Cleanser (including micellar waters)- 21 ,Toner - 5 ,Brush Soap - 3 ,Shower Gel - 2, Face Moisturiser - 5, Primer - 1, Eye Cream - 3, Hand Soap - 2, Eye Makeup Remover - 2, Perfume (including sample size) - 1, Serum - 1, Powder - 1

Hi! I just kept track of products I used up tin 2019 (not exactly project pan) and I used up 66! Seeing how long it takes to use stuff up I have really focused on the makeup that I have instead of buying new stuff. I'm excited to keep this mentality in 2020.

I did my own project with my own rules and I felt like it was super successful for the most part. I now have my samples down to a reasonable level and I really know my makeup stash way better and have clearer goals. Every time I wanted Inspo I would watch you and Hailey as you both seemed to be super consistent with your usage and you always finish so much! I can't wait to see what you add in your 2020 project :)

60 products is an amazing effort - well done Kat! I haven't added everything up yet from my 2019 project pan (I actually started my channel to join in on Team project pan!) but I think I've done well for my first ever project. I've learnt that I struggle to use up makeup but I can blitz through skincare. I'm going to do team project pan for 2020 as well but I'm going to take the weekend to figure out what I want to pan this year :)

I really enjoy project pan and I started mine in September, next year I want to reach a point where I only have the items that I need and not a proper collection that is just waist of money. I truly need to work on my 5 foundations and 6 concealers before they expire!

Love your videos! You inspire me to use up my products and use make up more often in general. I have a LOT but I rarely use it anymore. I've done my make up maybe once a week for the last three years, but I plan to do it more regulary this year 🥰

I have never done a project pan. I have a fairly small makeup collection but many of the things in my collection don't get enough love because I only use my holy grails so project panning may help me focus on other products as well not just to finish up my already small makeup collection.

I am definitely doing a 2020 project but I have to figure out how some of my makeup wears first. I haven't been able to wear makeup on a daily basis for 2 years but I'm super excited!

I followed along with this project and will be following along in 2020. It was my first year panning an I started off to ambitious with 3 projects, so half way through the year I got so bored with that I stopped the other 2, rolled in those products into the team project pan and carried on. I liked that a lot better and I really like being able to swap products every three months.

My goal last year was to use up $1200 worth of products, and I hit $1307.10. I'm soooo happy and plan to do the #teamprojectpan2020 now that I have more confidence. My top three categories were Cleansers, foundations, and masks but I definitely purchase too much of everything else :/

Started my project pan yesterday and I'm quite excited. I know I buy too much makeup and I'm trying to use something up before I buy another one (or after I've used up the 3 backups as well!!!) Do you force yourself to use products that didn't quite work out for you? I have a drawer full of foundation that hates my oily skin. Some of them I had shipped from the US and it cost a fortune. Give away or throw away?? Why can't someone else use a previously used foundation that is in a pump?

I often try to use products that I am not sure about, but I don't force myself to use products that I know I don't like. I either give them to friends/family or throw them out. You can give used products to people, its just about whether or not someone in your life is happy to take previously used products.
