A person will understand the best messaging tool when they can understand the best Finance App (like the bank apps), inlcuding the capacity to send money just with an SMS or a message

WhatsApp is a great app. No doubt about that. Use it for personal work. As a company, use the business version of WhatsApp to communicate with and support your customers. All I am saying is that do not use it for posting internal company information, files and data. That is unsafe.

Yes. Teams is comparatively new. And most people got exposed to it almost against their wishes - due to COVID. So it started off on the wrong foot. No problem. Once you know what is available, you will start appreciating the thought that has gone behind making the app.

Big fan here from Singapore, doc. Great video. I like both platforms very much. Let me flip the question around, can you share the use case for Teams as a personal messaging software? I think it could work. Comments please!

Hi Terence - Thanks for the feedback. Yes you can absolutely use Teams as a personal messaging platform. There are so many unique and useful chat features. The only deterrent is how you add people. They must be on Teams. Authentication is by email id rather than by mobile number. Bringing someone to Teams platform, if not already there, is challenging. It is just that who needs to chat with whom more. If you have the upper hand, people will switch! If that works for you, by all means shift feasible chats to Teams. Having said that, you probably cannot eliminate WhatsApp / Telegram completely. But you can certainly reduce the dependence. Let me know if this helps.

Really nice video! My company uses Teams, but most of our clients communicate through WhatsApp. Is there a way to integrate Teams chat with WhatsApp so my employees only use Teams Chat?

However, if there are specific points of contacts from customer side whom you deal with regularly, create a team in Teams. Teams vs share point which is the best to use to manage documents?

Thanks @jeremybooysen4501 Well, this is not an either / or question at all. Teams is SharePoint + other features. So use Teams. It gives you all the benefits of SharePoint document management plus gives you ability to collaborate, discuss, have meetings, manage shared task lists and more. Sir, Approvals and communication is ok. but When we need to forward the same only outlook is option. How to do that in teams

When you want to forward - it could be just some text or a file. Text you can send by email - no problem. If it is a file, store it on OneDrive and send link. You can send link to external people as well. They don't need Office license.

hi Dr. and the reason why I want to do this is my part of the office. We are 10 people are using group chat in WhatsApp and I will gradually move them over to teams chat but in the meantime, the historical church I also want to carry it over to teams chat so we can switch it with copilot when and if necessary thank you very much. Thanks @hk.dirooikopsmith7020 To my knowledge, there is no direct way to do this. You will need to start afresh in the Teams Chat group. With MS Graph programming this could be possible.
