Dark Magician is my fave Archetype/Monster in the entire game, so if I had to say my fave card of this pack this would be Soul Servant. It’s just so versatile in the DM decklist and leads to some INSANE plays. Hope you pull some Soul Servant and The Dark Magicians bro 🙏🙏🙏

Of course I love the Dark Magician support/reprints in this set but my favorite card(s) have to be the Cursed Necrofear reprint. Bakura is one of my favorite duelists in Yu-Gi-Oh history. Also I love the retrained versions of Giltia and Mystical Elf. Glad Konami is continuing to support older archetypes.

I think my favorite card is the new mystical elf card. The art is amazing! The secret foil just adds to it beauty and the effect is pretty good in my opinion.

Yes, I wish it was slightly better. It's good effect you have to keep it in your hand, and requires a Normal Monster already on the field. It's second effect is only in the BP and summons a Normal from the GY, but can't be used with the first effect. I wish the 1st effect can be used from the GY and not just the hand, or also summoned the Normal Monster from your GY. The BP effect could be a bit better too, because even Blue-Eyes in Season 1 could be defeated. They should have given it the boosted ATK of all Spellcasters you control too!

In the duel with the Kaiba's dark ghost/clown, Yugi boosted BEWD with Mystical Elf equipped with Book of Secret Arts to become 4100 ATK. I don't see that effect anywhere on this card. It's also a hard draw (no GY effect) and pretty bricky as you need to either Normal Summon this and wait for the opponent to enter the BP before you can revive the Normal Monster. Or, you have to be in a pretty good state already to have a strong Normal monster on the field, unless you are using Fish Sonar and Umi or decide to sit on a Magician's Souls summoned DM or are already winning with a live Eternal Soul? Most of the time you don't keep a Vanilla on the field, and the fact that it doesn't boost or protect is so strange (True Light and Dictator are way better). It also doesn't allow you to use the BP on your turn. That is exactly the opposite of how it was used in the show.

My favorite card out of this set is Harpie's Pet Dragon Fearsomr fire blast. I remember when I first saw it as a promo in the OCG, was so glad to see a new good Harpie card and replacement for the original HPD. It's a box topper in this set so hopefully copies get out there quick to order mine.
