Sam you might have to re-evaluate and write down these rules. Also acknowledge exceptions like using DNA transplant in an ally of justice deck since those cards need to play against light type, otherwise those cards are practically skill drained. And cards that help what the deck can already do does make sense, but would need to be determined whether it's fair or not b4 the duel, probably by a 3rd person familiar with the established rules.

Just make the rule that you have to stay in the archetype with staples, make a harder restriction on the extra deck monsters (no I:P Masquerena or generics bosses) and no floodgates. That way you have the flexibility to make a decent deck out of an underwhelming archetype without overpowering it

Tbh the ruling on that spell card being allowed is iffy...I get Jesse's argument that "Since my deck is focused around getting cards back from the graveyard then this is support for that" but tbh...World Chalice has SO MUCH SUPPORT. I feel that it wasn't super in line with the theme of the duels being "Using bad decks" when you ignore the cards made for the set and add in cards that weren't. It's up to Sam in the end as these are his videos and his rules. Regardless this was a fun video and GG to Sam for honestly even scoring 1 win against a far more suped up deck.

'Bricking' occurs more often, when you have multiple sets of three of in a deck. Try to keep 3 ofs to about two or three card sets at the most. So in volcanic, Rocket and scattershot should be at three, but others like doomfire are better as one ofs. Same thing goes for spell/trap cards. How well would you play if you drew three backfire, a blaze accelerator reload and a circle of the fire kings in your opening hand but didn't see a monster for 2-3 draws because you keep drawing extra copies of spell/trap cards?
