The funny thing about this deck is that the monsters are literally named after engines. The pyro ones are combustion engines and the thunder ones are electric engines (Ice for example being Internal combustion engine) at least on the OCG. An engine of engines.

You DON'T make Mereologic, you use it's dumped to the GY effect or use it as attachment fodder. TY-PHON you probably just use out of desperation if you DON'T get your Ryzeal board started or if it gets taken out and gives you some recovery on regaining the field so you can then nuke with Zeus.

You actually don’t make mereo. You use it to send to the grave for a negate and then recycle for xyz material. Typhon is easy. If your opponent special summons from the deck at least 2 times, you can tribute one or more monsters and bring it out on your turn.

Why not prosperity? I see desires, but the mutual conflict isn't an argument by itself. I mean, also desires conflicts with other desires. So that the matter is about the total only: 4 mutual conflicting cards vs 3. And yet if one for whatever reason prefers playing 3 total, why not 2 desires + 1 prosperity?

I think it's just personal preference really. He said he likes Desires because he feels the deck can brick hard and he's been able to get out of bad situations with the +2 Desires can give vs just the +1 off Prosperity etc. Plus you REALLY need the extra deck for Ryzeal. I'd say if you aren't sure which way to go yourself, play test both and see what works best for you. Just because a set of cards works great for one person doesn't mean it will work that great for another. Could fall onto luck and/or personal play style on how you pilot the deck.

"Tier Zero" it's not really tier zero at best tier 1. Take away every hand trap in the game and put in other cards and the deck folds like a cheap lawn chair. It's so carried by handtraps that if you take away cards you win. Btw for anyone wondering what a fun handtrap to use is the ghost reaper & winter cherries. You just need 1 copy of thier extra deck monster and boom all of the copies are forever gone. Kaijus will always exist. Lava Golem and Sphere mode. Also super poly. It's a deck that needs it's own extra deck monster. I have seen Ryzeal get beat more times then any other so call "tier zero" as when it's called that means it has basically a 100% win rate. I fear Maliss can be more annoying.
