I see the same thing. I like to browse listings for fun and I recognize a lot of houses that were on sale multiple times last year. They are back up for sale but +30k-50k more than their HIGHEST listed price last year...

3:30 - Nothing about the Canadian real estate market makes sense.... "Well, you can borrow more - so I'll charge you more!" Thats been the mantra for over a decade and look at the mess we are in.

The issue is that, they'll say bring whatever offer and they'll USE THAT OFFER to TELL others that we have offer even at this price AND THEN THEY'LL TELL we have MORE INTEREST at this HIGHER PRICE ! Some people are SCAM ARTIST, they shouldn't call themselves Realtors, they should have designation of professional Scamsters..

Happens when you decline rates from 1980high to 0% and when 0 cant stimulate that fiscally expand the debt until the pop happens like japan in 1990

It's pretty much relisted to look like a new ad again it has worked at getting more viewings and giving the impression of a new listing. I do agree that some small amounts of money can be used to make the home better if it doesn't sell

Q. The homes that sat selling/buying…are they people selling their home and buying another home? Of these sales how many are people getting into the market?

There needs to be some regulation in real estate pricing. Sellers shouldn't be able to set prices arbitrarily without any oversight.
