Most conservative working people would fully embrace socialism if they weren't so indoctrinated against it. There's nothing about socialism that says our borders should be open or that everyone should share the same opinions on stuff like gay marriage or abortions or whatever culture war subject is talked about this week. These are lies that both the Democrats and Republicans have been telling the American people for far too long. All socialism wants to achieve is the triumph of labour over capital.
