This is why I love the APEX community man. I'm so happy I dropped Warzone months ago and started playing APEX again, the competitiveness is there but no one is toxic about it. No one was trying to take away from Timmy, teammates were cheering him on and I'm sure people he killed in game jumped on his stream to cheer him on.

not only were a lot of team mates expressing their support via comms end game, but there actually WERE some enemy squads that were helping him in game! some people just stood there to let him kill them, or gave him shields or bats. i watched this live for like 16 hours then came back the next day & watched since he was still live. crazy fights, cracked plays, wholesome people. was great to see.

On a side note, I'm so happy that you guys are becoming aware of what the Apex community means to just gaming culture as a whole. Because the game has a solid ranked system and a VAST skill gap it has become an incredible indicator of FPS gaming ability. Tap strafing is an instantaneous change in direction while preserving your momentum. You can only do it on mnk and it requires you to bind a movement key to your scroll wheel

At this point in time, when he was doing the stream, the Eva-8 was the Meta shotty, but now it is at best a B tier weapon after its nerfs either last season or this season..I dont recall but ya, the PK is the "best" shotty now, but the Mastif is a close second as they are kind of a comfort pick. Some cant use the PK but can pop with the mastif where it can also be the exact opposite for others.

Tap strafing is really easy on mnk. Bind move forward to scroll wheel up in the second slot and just scroll and look in the direction you want to go. If it is greater than 90 degrees, you need to put in a sideways input (a or d depending on the direction).

The EVA was super broken in season 10, it had a crazy fire rate and damage. Soon after Timmy’s video it was nerfed to the ground. Fire rate with purple bolt is now equivalent to the blue or grey in Timmy’s video.
