A little tip for building diffs, especially if you have really big hands like I do... Diff fluid is thick enough to use like glue and stick the spider gears and shafts all together so it's easier to get it all assembled without them falling apart. Cheers!

I'm new too this, could you explain your reasoning on different weight fluids in your diffs? Thanks Also just ordered my first Tekin products. Rx8 Gen 3 and STX8 (or something of that sort) ESC. Heard they are bad @$$, can't wait.

Diff fluids change how the car grips, steers and handles. Changing the weight of each diff can greatly affect a number of things, so it's good to start with something close to what other drivers run on your surface and tune it to your liking from there.

Where does one get one of those killer RC work mats?

It was made by a company that no longer does pit mats unfortunately. I'm not sure if any others make them like this, it was a custom job!

I love this KIt.Just upgraded from 4.0 and this is completely different beast. One thing I must mention is the rear dog bone for centre and rear diff is too short.TLR has released slightly longer dog bone which is if I am correct 3mm longer. It is the pin sitting almost on the edge of center outdrive but if you push it forward then pin is halfway over the edge of rear outdrive.TLR stepped up and sent me a new upgraded part.The new part number is TLR242034.
