It's not required to produce top quality bud either.
@TwisterTrimmer Жыл бұрын
It's not required if you consistently produce flower where the stems snap, the bud compresses like a fresh marshmallow and puffs back, and then sticks hanging from your finger, smells incredible, and has a long shelf life.... you don't need this. However, the truth is that the majority of flower across the country sold in dispensaries is overdried (rehydated with moisture packs), has no stick, and a weak nose.

Love to test it, useful, but too expensive at the moment for this guy in Canada. You're kinda in spot where China and Home Assistant DIY are going to become competitive at the price point. Great price for commercial market, so hopefully you can bang out some bucks on them and get the software dialed on some cheaper hardware and provide something more affordable to the home guy.

Damn if harvest and curing this fast Back in the day like do a chart on daily chores of burping Mason jars and I don't mean a couple I'm talking cases full of curing cultivars and the annoying pain in not breaking jars because of accessibility to burp the jars in the back then there's those days your burping a whole case and you forgot to do a day before bc of work and new grow or perpetual harvest always going like this would been a lifesaver back then Hit a like if you know this struggle lol

Who is going to pay $445 for something that is not essential to producing a quality product? Answer : People who have money than sense.
@TwisterTrimmer Жыл бұрын
if you nail top shelf quality every time - where your stems snap, flower squishes like a fresh marshmallow and puffs back, and hangs stuck to your finger. Where you don't need a moisture pack, the terpene profile continues to improve and the burn is perfect. If you know precisely how to dry, when to burp your containers for maximum quality.... you are right... you don't need this. The truth is, the vast majority of flower in dispensaries across the country has over dried flower, with muted aroma, and a less than ideal burn.
@pXnEmerica Жыл бұрын
It's one of the more essential parts. Learned that on grow #2, well, 6 months later when I found a left over jar and went wow, that actually was good, I want more, and didn't have the plants anymore, bagseed. Don't doubt a good cure making a difference. Let them tackle the commercial market, that can easily handle the cost, and work towards us in the future.
@AppaStappa Жыл бұрын
This isn’t for home growers guys, this is very clearly marketed for commercial use.

if that was the answer, everyone who used grove bags would have sticky well cured flower, and unfortunately- they don't.

I use smelly proof bags. Same thing as grove and these types of bags make it a non issue to cure perfectly/ Fire in fire out! If you let your herb get out of control while drying then curing will never make it better. @@TwisterTrimmer

Grove bags ain’t magic brother. And everyone I know that’s started with glass , tried Grove Bags has soon switched back to glass. Myself included., There’s an art to off gassing ( burping) and grove bags don’t allow for enough off gassing. Essentially everything winds up tasting nearly indistinguishable from strain to strain..
@timpage5021 Жыл бұрын
You’re pricing out millions of home growers that’s potentially millions of dollars.. You’d sell more and make more money by volume if the price was more reasonable at around 75$ max. I’m growing 6 strains at any one time., That’s 6 pucks 3,600$ lol
@TwisterTrimmer Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, the sensors in this unit make that price impossible. Yes, there are cheap sensors and parts we could use, but there is typically thousands of $ worth of flower being monitored and put at risk. The only way we could get the price that low is to switch to a subscription model. Regarding mutliple strains. Depending how much weight you have in those 6 strains, you can cure in one chamber. It's not uncommon for people to use a large tote with flower in perforated baskets inside the tote.

Putting in two non return valves into a sealable airtight bucket with input at the bottom and output at the top, use a fishtank airpump connected to a timer to pressurise and blow off each day, keep them in your tent at 65% humidity. This product looks good enough but its too expensive for the purpose really
@TwisterTrimmer Жыл бұрын
I appreciate that may be a cheaper way (and the way we once did it), but it did not give us the insight to consistently improve the quality of flower we have now. instagram.com/p/Cre6X7mrM0W/?igshid=ODhhZWM5NmIwOQ==

You can visit dispensaries across the country, and the vast majority have over dried flower or they have rehydated with moisture packs. It's rarely super sticky and often smells muted or off (particularly if it has been in the package for an extended period). Simply put, the majority of people don't know how to dry, when to cure or how to cure.
