As much as I love the terrablast arrows, it's the shield weaver armor that lets you not care about damage and adjust your angle as you wish to shoot the parts off

I think what's missing is a simple way of controlling the overridden machine animals. Like "Attack my targets" or "Protect me" would already be enough. Overridden machines often stand around doing nothing and it takes far more time to lure enemies towards it then just killing them off by yourself.

that exists in forbidden west. while overriding, you can set the machine to be defensive or attacking

Got a blazing sun on my first go! The hardest ever is to get a full blazing sun on the chieftain trials up in Banuk territory. That shit is hard AF. That took me a good 6-7 tries.

After playing this on ultra hard I feel like everything would be op on a lower difficulty. I think the “tear” stat and other status effects are halved on UH.

@@jeremyjoyner9796 They are for Tearblast arrows. You have to use the Tearblaster for one-shots on UH, and that requires you to literally be in its face.

This video is less about tearblaster and more about how OP disc launcher was before Guerilla nerfed it. After the nerf, disc launcher barely deals enough damage to make it worthwhile. Nowadays, it's easier to kill a Thunderjaw by freezing it and then shooting its heart with Ice Cannon or Triple-Precision Arrow.

The design of the Thunderjaw is so good. Very robotic with lots of exposed breakable pieces. I think they went too organic with the robots on Forbidden West.

Not quite.... they are innefective against big machines... they work but even if you aim them right it does not guarantee that the part will be removed. The best component remover is the teablaster, after that you just use the tearblast arrow when you need to aim it perfectly... for example: ravager cannon so that you can use it.

Tearblaster is better anyway the Ravager Control trial is very easy honestly you don’t even need the Ravagers what i just do is call them our then after overriding them i run to the other side in just 19.3 seconds then i ready my 2 Tearblaster arrows and shoot he’s disc so i can shoot he’s body then for the second Disc Launder i aim at he’s heart but if you don’t want to spend your Echo shells thats ok since Echo shells are hard to get if you on level 10+ so you can just use Prescription arrows and shoot 3-5 of them but for me i finished the game multiple times but im always losing Blazes xD Also Tip: *don’t continue to keep doing Main Quest or you’ll have to fight the end with weak equipment just like i did for the first time i only had an UltraWeaver and a Carja Tripcaster a Carja Hunting Bow and a Carja Sling with Carja Sharpshot bow without any blazes (also when i reached the end i was only level 34) anyways its about skill*

buy a sharpshot bow, Carja or higher should work. Echo Shells can be bought for 50 shards at merchants or from medium-high level Machines.

Yeah it runs fine for me on PS5. Unless you think 30fps counts as running like shit. Good news for you is there might be a PS5 60 fps patch for Zero Dawn on the way soon like for Days Gone and God of War. There is a State of Play on Thursday devoted to Horizon Forbidden West. I could be very wrong but Sony dropping an fps patch for the first game to promote the new one seems like a no brainer especially since Zero Dawn is one of a few big 1st party ps4 games to not receive a PS5 patch yet.

Machines don't respond to sound or movement that much when they're already fighting another enemy. In this case, it was that other overridden Ravager.

@@chenxiongxiong6778 nope still I did itlast mounth and if you just overide the 2 machines they lose against the thunderjaw. I tried this way 10 times and it always lose if you let your 2 machines against the thunderjaw. You have to take part in the fight in a way or another
