The SUVT/Galaxy 3500 was engineered in Kolding, Denmark back in 2006 - 2008. That is why the power boards are marked "Engineered in Denmark". The unit is no longer in production, but as always we promise to support with spare parts up to 10 years after official discontinuation. The SUVT/G3500 was replaced by the Galaxy VS which was also engineered in Kolding, Denmark.

Mosfets and OGBY devices are perfect though to repair your regular SMPS units, as they will work in most smaller units well, provided your drive circuit can drive the input capacitance. The rectifiers as well will be useful there.

All is saved! Don't worry, the boxes of IGBTs and MOSFETs is bulging :)

Some nice bits on there mate, definitely worth getting imo.i knew the big UPS are better but id still take these for sure 😎👍👍

@@KaizerPowerElectronicsDk its nice to have 60 of the same FET, I'm sure they will come in handy at some point 😃👍

At the junkyards near me, the employees don't let you take anything away 😭 I once tried to grab something in the electronics section and someone immediately shouted at me

here something like a junkyard dosen't exist😭

You have to buy this stuff from the scrapyards, it's not free, you need to speak with the guys and boss etc and come to an agreement

Public recycling stations are like this, all over Europe, due to environmental laws. The manufacturer actually owns the discarded electronics, once its delivered to a station. I get my stuff from privately owned metal recyclers and scrap yards, here you can buy stuff at their sale prices and if you are lucky, they consider all electronics as waste that cost them money to get rid of.
@T2D.SteveArcs4 ай бұрын
@@KaizerPowerElectronicsDk yes the government owned recycling centre is like that here too but the guys that work there take stuff home 🤣,
@T2D.SteveArcs4 ай бұрын
@@xntumrfo9ivrnwf oh you mean you tried to take stuff from government owned recycling centre? Yeah those places don't let you take stuff in general although there are some that will, my friend in Germany gets a steady supply of bits from the one near him, the rule in my local is you can ask other people for stuff as they are unloading but you can't take from the skips

Nice inductors for a reactive load for amplifier's if they're approximately 20 - 50 mH

Very hard to get off the boards in one piece, epoxy, heavy copper wire and soldered in with 4 or 6 points.

My guess is that a scrapper got to the unit before you and removed the easily removable "precious" metals.

Anything on gate drivers
@KaizerPowerElectronicsDk4 ай бұрын
The small individual boards I pointed out in the video is a gate drive transformer and passives. The main driver output stage, under the silver color heat sinks, is 20N60C3 MOSFETs, so quite a stiff driver for all those IGBTs/MOSFETs in parallel.
