Great work! I like the way you explain the components. Keep it up! That would be great if you could teardown some 3rd party or even fake chargers to compare with originals. Teardown of various usb c and lightning cables would be amazing. Thanks again.

Really appreciate this video! I bought my 45W charger on eBay used, being sold as a store return. When it arrived I always wondered if the cable it came with was authentic but had no way of knowing for sure. Well after watching this video I checked my cable to see if it looked the same and sure enough it's lacking the 5A markings. Now I know that the USB cable that came with my charger is not the OEM 5A cable but rather could be a standard 3A usb-c cable.

This is quite good and versatile charger worth the money since it has also 5 Amp cable included (not so much common those days). It can charge super fast my Samsung, iPad can charge fast using its fixed 15V PD voltage and lastly it can also charge slowly my Dell Latitude using fixed 20V PD voltage :) Lastly it is not that heavy so there is no problem to have two of them in backpack.

Would be great if you show noise that comes from chargers - to device and to power grid. A lot of chargers have good curciut design, but produces a lot of interferences. Also interesting parameter is voltage drop under load.

Tengo el mismo cargador lo abri ya que ko carga verifique el fusible y el varistorm.todo bien..pero sigue sin cargar..no funciona. Podrias ayudarnr a reparar??? Gian de lima peru. Gracias por el video!!!

Shalom, excellent work. I have a question, do humor me, say i want to power this circuit using a car battery (dc) rather than the wall socket (ac), would i be able to do this by simply supplying dc voltage to the terminals of the 30v 300uf capacitors? Would the protocols still kick in if my voltage supply matches that of the onboard transformer? Or would it be safer to wire directly to the outputs of the onboard transformer?

Does anyone else find it strange how long it took Samsung to catch up in charging took? That and all the issues with Note 7… they are cutting edge everywhere else. Do you guys at charger lab know if that’s related to patents or something? By all accounts, Samsung should have come up with a sage quick charge like Super Vooc.. yet their pinnacle here is a 45w Strange right?

Mine was charging as super fast charging but 1 week ago it has just started as fast charging to my s22 samsung. I ve bought new charger and cable and tried old cable with new charger. Its Okay super fast charging but my old charger is not charging super fast ? Can you help me?

It is peace of c.... it has Chinese capacitors (CapXon) which are lower quality compare to Korean (Samwha for example) or Japanese (Nichicon for example).

Nice video. I have bought a 45w adaptor for my phone and sometimes when I shake the adaptor it makes lattring sound and sometimes not. Which part of the adaptor can cause this sound? Is it a big deal or not? can it be dangerous to phone battery?

Could you compare with the older Samsung 45w charger. Just purchased mine from best buy and it says manufacturer date January 2022 not sure which yours is. I do know that our packaging is different. Could be a regional thing. Curious as to what they have implemented into the so called updated charger. Great video as always. Thanks for your help.

My charger is 18watts input: 100-240v-50/60 Hz 0.5a output:5v -2a or 9v-2a can I use 120watts charger with same volts?

I think this charger is a bit pricey. I am bit hard on chargers and I end up dropping them on the concrete and busting them open and don't know how to put them back together!!
