a fun (more like heartfelt tbh) story: suhyun cried the first time she listened to next episode (song) since she knew what exactly that moment (which the song portrayed) is. when they told their parents that they'll include next episode in the album and listened to it together, their mom also cried as they all thought it's really a heartwarming song that portrays a story of a family.

what's amazing about this album is.. every song can mean a little something to everyone. Battlefield - life is gonna be a constant war Nakka - it's okay to fall. when you land, there's always gonna be somebody Stupid love song - so love yourself, do things for yourself Tictoc tictoc tictoc - time flows. everybody does their thing even if you stop Bench - in life, there will be strangers you meet in life and click with Next episode - conversations I remember having with my mom/someone I depended on :') Everest - celebrate life and a wish that you will one day achieve your own high ChanHyuk's been drawing since he came back from military. I think this album is his way of saying "yes guys.. I'm an artist.. inside out" This album is art. ps: if you watch AKMU's interview on IU's show Palette, their next album will be more of what Suhyun wants to express :) pps: Thank you for the video. As always I love the songs even more after watching your insights. I cried too when I listened to "Next episode"

actually for nakka chanhyuk explained on iu palette that it actl means that just fall and when theres nothing to land on, you'll end up at the top of the world

@@mispuk haha yup, he said if u fall without landing at all, wouldn’t you end up on the other side of world? He also added that it’s a song of hope. If you fall, you’re afraid that you’ll land alone.. but if there’s someone saying 123 fall…. Don’t worry. I will be there with you where u land. And hence the reason my interpretation of the song is that “it’s ok to fall. U can trust me”.. and I feel warmth because end of the day… all of us just needs somebody around to share our experiences with, be it happy or sad.

btw akmu the singer choi junghoon the one from "next episode" from the band jannabi released an album too titled the "the land of fantasy" just after akmu's album from melody to instrumentation to lyrics it's something surpasses expectations and I really wish you could give it a listen

Stupid Love Song sounds like something off the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack, or something from a folk singer or coffee bar type of song, LOVE it, and Everest is soooo good, I listen to those two songs the most, including NAKKA, off the album.

When I knew about AKMU's style, I told myself that I will listen to them until I grow up (if they will still bring out songs, ofcourse that is what we want haha). Their music just really grows within you and there will always be a small part of it that you can relate to. I am still amazed on how good they put stories on the lyrics. Stupid love song is composed by chanhuk and jukjae and arranged by jukjae. Most of instrument(a.guitar, E.guitar, bass, drum) was played by jukjae. Jukjae is sing a song writer at the same time he is a guitarist. He was a session at iu band sam kim band and park hyo shin band etc. I mean,,..,, can I ask for you guys react to jukjae’s song,,,? Immediately I listened to the album, I was so excited picturing the expressions on your face as you listen to each track, I could just tell how you'd react to every song. Since 2017 that I've been following you Umu, I can say that we've had such similar tastes in music and how we relate or how much kpop means to us. I screamed album of the year too! Everything you said about why AKMU is one of your ultimate groups is similar to my view point on why I love their artistry so much. This channel is always going to be my best on KZbin because I usually find it hard to find people who like the type of music that I do, like you, only have one friend who does. I can say majority of your ult artists are also mine. I'm just leaving this here to say thank you for letting me know I'm not alone and for giving an outlet here. And my tear jerkers on this album is Next Episode and Everest. Especially Everest, got me in such much tears because at this stage in my life, I need that kind of hope! I love, love, love Hey kid, but Nakka is def the next fave. This however will be one of the albums where you just cannot skip tracks. I think ohh I'm going to listen to this song twice but when the next song just starts, I can't go back.

I recently went to a restaurant in Korea Town in NYC that was playing Korean Ballads, and every 3 songs, a track from Next Episode XD We made sure to stay at the restaurant long enough to experience the full album playing over loud speakers 😍 no skips indeed!

the one inside the car crashed was actually Chanhyuk himself. He's died so that's his ghost looking at himself. And as the song goes on Chanhyuk just standing still , canera zooming out .. that's himself recalling his childhood story which is what the lyrics were about ..
