Saw TFF in Sactown in July, and to say they did not disappoint, is a huge understatement. Absolutely spot on and fantastic. Roland's voice was awesome and as powerful as ever.... and Curt was on top of his game. If you like their sound at all, take advantage if they're anywhere near you. You won't regret it.

I didn't. May 2022 they were here in Phoenix. Lord what a show. They were spectacular and the crowd went insane the whole time. They had Garbage open for them and she too was amazing. One of the best nights of my life.

@@coupleofbeers31 lucky I wish I could say the same but living near Toronto, but not in, they aren't coming here:( Some groups I wish I had seen, Genesis, George Michael and TFF....have to settle for RUSH and the WHO lol....they are such a gifted group love their new album too!

Even though Roland is the centerpiece here in this video, and rightly so, no one ever mentions what a great host Arsenio was. So polite, yet asking tough questions and somehow making his guests feel comfortable.
@petezereeeah9 ай бұрын
Arsenio was an azzhole. When that Rodney king thing happened he pissed off so many people the network cancelled him. He was a fake , and everybody saw it
@choosecarefully4086 ай бұрын
Well yeah, he *tried* but Roland is never comfortable in these settings. The reason he hesitates so much is that he has to censor himself for American Television.
@tomkruze27492 ай бұрын
Absolutely Correct! Brilliant observation. Especially in comparison to 2024 hosts Arsenal was truly a class act. On a different topic Roland is such an intellect. It’s amazing to see such talent and intelligence married with a sense of humanity.. they don’t make them like this anymore that’s for sure.

Hardly saw Arsenio back in the day (was a little young for him) but lately I’ve viewed him and someone like Dick Caveatt as forgotten gems. It’s a shame Arsenio didn’t end up becoming the next David Letterman.

Roland has always been the talent and driving force of TFF. Their music has matured so much over the years and Roland's voice has matured and sounds so much better. However, I have some very fond memories of my dating life in the 80's while listening to TFF.

great upload.... it's hard to believe this was 1993 less then a year bloody grunge killed off Rock which in turned become a parody of itself.... solid rock music has it's strange ups and downs since 1993

True, true... but I'm still miffed about rock killing off jazz!
@prettyyoungthingpyt50156 жыл бұрын
That's true, grunge did kill rock. Bring back Rock and Roll like Tears For Fears
@MickeyDs145 жыл бұрын
Steve Kim I’d actually be more inclined to say that Pop and R&B killed off jazz, and straight up Rock killed Blues. Only because Pop and R&B still utilize jazz chords. And the same for Rock with Blues chords. But it’s still cool to find those genres laced in everything else because it truly shows the influence and progression.
@progmeup Жыл бұрын
Roland evidently liked grunge, since he covered Creep live and also used some pretty grungy sounds on War of Attrition, Until I Drown and The Madness of Roland.
