¡Wao! All 3 of these bonus tracks are better than some of the songs in the base album. I hate it when bands intentionally split their songs into a million fucking versions of the same album. There's only ONE version of this album that contains all 3 bonus tracks AND it's the version that had an EXTREMELY limited release of around 2,000 copies (that version is the SDE one). It makes it infuriating as a fan to have all the songs in one format. If you want to have all 13 songs without paying stupid prices for a limited edition CD, then get the European CD and the Japanese CD. The Target CD also have 2 out of the 3 bonus tracks as well.

Exactly let's get this song on the radio all day!!
@pranavchandrasekhar64542 жыл бұрын
@@kevinl2578 Kevin, I think the challenge here is terrestrial radio. They have been ageist and geocentric since the mid-90s at least in the US. Plus as soon as they took playlist autonomy out of the hands of DJs and replaced this with "centralized" programming, that became the start of death spiral for terrestrial radio being an avenue for showcasing a diversity of pop/rock music. Now, admittedly, we cannot pin NOT playing "Secret Location" on their stations on them since the song wasn't even released as a single but there other online radio stations that are playing sonic nuggets like this one on high-rotation. I have definitely heard this song on Radio Creme Brulee (they broadcast 24/7 globally online). I think human curated radio can be far more adventurous than it has been in the 20-25 years in the US. Before then, listeners had some sway in getting songs on the radio. Now they only have sway in getting higher airplay for songs that some central authority deemed acceptable for broadcast music radio.

That being said, we're really curious as to the financial bet these guys took me include their most radio-friendly track on Tipping Point as a bonus track. There's alot of late 70's early 80's post disco vibe to this and a few other tracks. Some ELO, Cliff Richards, Blondie even a little Pink Floyd on a couple. Master Plan and Rivers of Mercy instantly remind me of Peter Gabriel as well. And I absolutely love No Small Thing and it's eerily current and topical folk sound. My Demons has such a great NOW yet retro throwback to their past and whenever I hear End of Night it stays with me for hours and matches most 90's hits I can think of
