I really hope that the intro gets taken out like the first "level" of Halo 2. Honestly, it just seems like a waste of time and it would be better if you started in the new shrine of resurrection. That way people can have an easier time resetting.

Minor optimization: you should be able to skip the "Wing x 3" chest by taking wings out via the menu and closing using Y+B (like in the duplication glitch). This should cause the wing to appear in front of you without actually consuming the zonai capsule.

Pretty sure that dupe glitch is new to the speedrun, otherwise it would be used to dupe regular items too in the final fight prep, but yeah definitely a timesave

its very simple, just press zl x a (so u shield surf without moving forward) and then pause while ur shield surfing after u press a, next, hold one item that u only have one of, and it has to be before the item u want to dupe, so for example if i wanted to dupe a golden apple and i use a chu chu jelly, because the chu chu jelly is below the golden apple, it will not work, it doesnt have to sort, so for example if u pick up an item and hence its not in its correct order, it will still work, so hold the item that u only have one of, and then just hold the item that u want to dupe, and exit the menu, after u picked up the stuff that u dropped, u will see that u have more items than before. i know that i explained it very badly so if u dont understand u can just search up "totk shield item dupe" or something like that
