Yes I’m well aware i beat this game with arrows and most of you wanted to use the master sword. Boss fights aren’t my big focus in games- i play them for story’s and puzzles mainly! Just did what was most fun for me. Enjoy and play the game how you like! The devs made it beatable in many ways for a reason- if it wasn’t meant to be beaten by arrows (or any other way) it wouldn’t be possible. Please be kind to one another here, thanks!

I was hoping Link would’ve just kissed or hugged Zelda at the end it was a perfect moment for that to happen but Link princess carrying Zelda out of the water was still better than anything we’ve ever got from Zelink so far

Gibdos are invulnerable until struck by an element. Fire, ice, lightning or water.

The game tells you NEVER WALK ON THE GLOOM and then the third phase boss fight is like "go ahead and land on the gloom ;)" lmao I'm just saying I totally understand going for the arrow strat at first

Gibdos are weak to fire and electricty, so Riju is the natural choice, but any fire or electricity you have works and makes them too easy....which is why Yunobo is also great for steamrolling them. And sadly, you don't get a pass on the Master Sword either, because that IS the narrative element. Zelda gave you that thing...she empowered it for millenia to be used without shattering against Nanners. You'd get a pass in BOTW since it's fairly hidden, but this IS all about the Master Sword and delivers on that story element. Play it again with the sword. Only then will you regain your honor.

Your scuffle with the mobs outside Ganondorf's room was far more exciting than mine; I took the rogue route and puffshroom/backstabbed everyone I could. 😆 Also your Master Sword fusion looked cooler than mine. There's SO MANY amazing things that happen in, especially in the second phase of ganondorf fight you missed, such as perfect dodging you and DODGING YOUR FLIPPING FLURRY RUSH. I find the fight more fun to do when I'm not using the bows.

Ive said it in other posts BOTW gave us Zelda OGs a mediocre endgame boss fight TOTK gave us a true adversary💯 This fight takes a lot of skill to parry and perfect dodge I too chose not to use the bow I prefer the sword fight But on my second play thru I plan to light him up💯

The ending was perfect. Rauru and Sonia fulfilling their promise to send Zelda home to Link by helping him change her back via a powered up version of Recall; Link catching Zelda; Zelda talking about the “warm loving embrace” and rambling like a nerd about her experiences in the past; Link and the sages walking up to Zelda the way Link did at the end of BOTW; Zelda finally realizing who she wants to be and what she wants to say. I think it’s so cool that Zelda is basically the main character of the story. 🥰

What a masterpiece This game left me feeling so many emotions and wow I’m at a loss for words how beautiful this is. It’s the absolute perfect game, the perfect sequel. The perfect ending. Idk how on Earth they will ever top this, but to be fair I thought that of breath of the wild and yet they did. Thank you to everyone who worked on this game, I’m just in awe.

Look, I'm not gonna get on someone's ass for playing a game they want to, especially for a game like TOTK, which is all about player expression. But playing the final boss by running away and then pelting him with arrows is probably the most unfun way to play it by far.
