@@GramKraken That's the only thing I REALLY Hated about both games, Way too many Korok Seeds and Shrines. 106 Shrines and 340 Korok Seeds in BOTW is where i Finished!

A Link Between Worlds is my favorite Zelda game. It’s a fun map, not too long, and has that “old school” feel to it while having a modern look.

Poor writing. One-dimensional characters. Lame rewards. Endgame weapons made of paper. Lackluster soundtrack that only tries for dungeons and on the way to Ganon himself. Unlike other Zeldas, the game has no understanding of tone. The NPCs all live in a happygolucky fartbubble and clearly do not know what basic words like "demon," "king," "secret," and "stone" mean despite the recent events of the calamity. Did a demon army actually erupt from the earth led by a big, scary mummy? Hell if I know whilst picking up Korok shit in the sky and helping the resident domeskull of Hudson Co. put up his 40th sign.

the Temples are pretty hard, but i don't feel Much different than i did with Breath of the Wild!

Links Past was my favorite of all time until TOTK came out. This game is perfect and the endgame with the Ganondorf fight was amazing pay off

Lmao, recency bias? Are you new here? Do you know what the zelda cycle is? And im not talking reincarnation. Zelda game comes out > zelda fans(?) Hate it, and say its not real zelda/critics love it > next zelda announced > zelda fans(?) Act like it cant touch the previous masterpiece Zelda Is the only game series where the most recent entry is always hated by its fanboys, at least when it happens to sonic its because the games actually suck.

@@kajin2422 I'm willing to bet the new one will be great, but a lot of what they put out is legitimately less impressive than fan projects. Frontiers was a great example of the problem, where sonic team keeps trying to reinvent sonic based on current trends, but without understanding the trend. I dont like warframe and ac went to hell, but both have an open world movement system that feels significantly less sluggish and janky than sonic frontiers, which is weird.

I have given up on a best Zelda. I just have best of x era (Oracle, Minoan, Cap, MM, TP, TotK), and my favorite 5 (MM, TP, WW, BotW, TotK…yeah I like 3D).

Nay, this game is one of the most repetitive and tedious games in the series. Its still fun in a sort of “junk food” kind of way, but It’s only second worst to skyward sword in the 3D series

@@plooper14 It is, but it's still held back from not being able to toggle off the auto lock and pikmin throwing lockout. I would say that Pikmin 4 does have the edge over this though. A new game+ would also do wonders for Pikmin 4.

The story is unbelievable and the satisfaction of destroying Gannon is so much more rewarding than in any other Zelda game.
