I mean...you can't steal your own work anyway haha. A lot of the same people are involved. One thing I like though, is TOTK outright references various things from OoT as historical events. I personally think that must put TOTK/BOTW in the downfall timeline (probably in the far far future).

Idk if its just me but, TOTK is like a mix of skyward sword and OOT but with alot of stuff added on. This connection to 2 of the most important games in the series might allude that the series coming to a close soon. Im not saying that the next game will be the last, maybe we only get 2 or 3 more games in the series before it comes to a close.

Let's be honest: Zelda 3, and Ocarina of Time laid the framework for the series moving forward after 2000. All subsequent entries borrow heavily from earlier games -- especially those two.
