The Yeti and the Loch Ness Monster are guarantees. There could also be lesser known ones like the Jersey Devil and the Mothman. Maybe some original ones as well.

I'm going to say krakens because they could've existed if scientists just had a bit of whimsy to them. It's commonly believed that giant squids led to the legend of krakens with sailors of old seeing them and creating stories about them similar to sailor's would hallucinate and believe manatees to be mermaids. But unlike manatees and mermaids giant squids actually fit the description of krakens. All the scientists of the 1870s had to do was name the giant squid a kraken and BOOM krakens would technically exist.

Skunkape. It's fairly humanoid in shape, and it's said to reside in Florida. With all the weird stuff that happens in Florida, I could totally someone having a kid with it. Especially during Spring Break.

Here are some ideas. Moth Man. In this world, he has the ability to see the future. He tried to warn everyone about the collapse of Silver Bridge. But due to certain circumstances, everyone believed that he's responsible. Including a hunter who lost his family in the previously mention collapse. One day, the Moth Man saves female reporter, leading to them falling in love and having a daughter. The daughter can also see the future. She must master her powers if she is to save her family from the Hunter. Other creatures include the Steller's sea ape, Capelobo (Humanoid anteater monster) and Chupacabra. The Chupacabra can be a rival of the Moth Man and has a son that the Moth Man's daughter befriends.

Here are a few ideas. Moth Man. He would have the ability to see the future. He tried to warn everyone of the silver bridge collapse. But unfortunately, everyone assumes he was responsible. Even worst, a hunter who lost his family during the collapse would seek revenge. Later he would save a reporter. She would fall in love the Moth Man and the two would have a daughter. Years later, the daughter, Luna, must used all of her powers to save her family from the hunter. Owl Man. He's a rival to the Moth Man and would have a son that Luna befriends. Other ideas are the Steller Sea Ape, Capelobo (Humanoid anteater monster), and Chupacabra.

I remember watching this movie a while back, and honestly all I can say is Son Of Bigfoot is harmless fun. And yeah, while I can agree that the concept is kinda misleading in on the whole Bigfoot aspect (which instead of being about the son of the actual Bigfoot, it’s just the son of a hairy mutant guy who just looks like Bigfoot) and the whole plot about the villains trying to use Adam and his Dad for their hair products or something is nothing short of ridiculous. But what saves this movie for me, are these things. The animation quality, this is indeed a beautiful looking movie. Kinda like a mix between Dreamworks and Disney’s earlier CG animation in the late 2000s and early 2010s. The relationship between Adam and his father is quite genuine and sweet which helped by the great performances by the voice actors. The side characters are both likeable and not annoying. And the plot is perfectly put together. Nothing feels too dragged out or pandering to the audience. And while a few concepts particularly Adam and his father’s powers are bit much, thankfully they’re not too outlandish keeping it well within our suspension of disbelief. And hey, it would’ve been an interesting aspect to explore in a sequel. Speaking of which, yeah this movie did indeed get a sequel Bigfoot Family. And while it’s god awful, and I did find it watchable. It’s still a bit of a step down from the film. My main problems I had with the movie were the story structure and pacing. Not to go into spoilers here, but it starts off promising but then the pacing kinda drags on for the remaining running time. And it makes me wish the movie would have dedicated more time to explore the origins of Adam’s father and how he came to be. My second main problem has to be the villain. Say what you will about the first movies villain (whose name is Wallace Eastman by the way, I wish the filmmakers even bothered to mention it in the script) being ridiculous, but I did at least by him as threat. Granted the villain in the sequel is a bit more believable than in the first film, but ultimately he’s just a bland standard kids movie villain. All and all, while Nwave’s movies ( namely the two Bigfoot films and Thunder and the House of Magic) might never be classics, at least they’re a bajillion times more fun and interesting than the Alpha and Omega and Norm movies combined.

Glad you put this back up. Although I have some things I like to point out. 1. the hair setting on fire was intentional. More like an unwanted side effect. It also explains the Bad guy wants the capture Bigfoot. 2. Why would the bad guy care about the Adam's mother sending letters to a Mailbox in the woods. Nothing shown indicates that the Bad Guy knew Adam's mom had an connection to Big Foot. 3. What's wrong with Bigfoot having Superpowers? You didn't complain about Everest (Dream's Abominable) having magic powers.
