Do cancer survivors feel lucky to have good outcomes? Lucky to have a perspective to appreciate our days. Why are some cancer survivors lucky to live and others die?

hi Jen this was riveting- I think the primary “lucky” element was being blessed with the brain and disposition capable of navigating your own health care. And fortune favors those lucky enough to live in the U.S. with access to the facilities and innovations as you say. Cancer is surely unlucky! But really in your video you are articulating gratitude and insight into life, something most people are always grasping for. Great Tea Time! Thanks for the cup of positivity.🌷

Lovely feedback. Glad that my TeaTime was a bit of positivity. I think the importance of advocacy would be a great TeaTime (I'll add it to the list).

I've been on HP antibodies for ten years because I was stage four MBC. Reoccurrence is always a possibility but since I am monitored so closely it will be caught early. Stage four is not necessarily a death sentence.

We are so lucky that a previously fatal diagnosis is now a chronic disease. So glad you are still doing well and are well monitored. Be well.

@@MoreThanAPatient they now have an injection form of the HP antibodies called PHESGO. I started it two years ago and was able to have my port removed since I don't do infusion anymore. I have less side effects from the injection and it has made my treatment much easier.

Great to know. Thanks for sharing. I'll advocate for this in the future if a change is needed OR if treatment must continue beyond the year. Be well.
