Such a good tea time! This applies to so many things in life. Knowing possible outcomes in advance is more comfortable for me too. You will handle it all well no matter what happens. Sending a pm.

I am sorry that they didn’t share all the information upfront with you. As you said, you can’t change the past. The good news is that you look beautiful with or without hair. Love you!!! ❤❤❤

In the African-American communities, bald does not mean illness. Many black women rock the bald cause they want to, and they are gorgeous. One of my closest friends is one of them. Her medical issues have no impact on her choice to be bald. I think the Caucasian community needs to embrace the bald more, and I think it is slowly getting there from the awareness the Alopecia community bringing to the world. My youngest went to school with a girl with alopecia, they started in the same kindergarten class and were friends all through graduation. She participated in sports, and I think was even a cheerleader in elementary school. There is a ninja on American Ninja Warrior that has alopecia and he also is heavily involved in the awareness movement, bringing his young alopecia ninja students to the competitions with him to cheer him on. My first thought when I see someone who is bald is how pretty their outfit is. I don't automatically assume illness since it's more the norm in my world. Thoughts are changing, and I think you'll be surprised at how it is. The generation before us will make the assumption. The generations after us...not so much I agree - do not borrow trouble; in the meantime, enjoy the quick showers and the break from styling. The six months will go by before you know it, and we shall see what's happening (or not happening) then.

Hopefully your hair will grow back. I am 4 months out from docetaxol and have about a quarter inch of hair growth. A bit sparce, but growing.

I did start growing around 3 months; now at almost 4 months about the same growth. I record a short daily video so you can see the growth if interested... (kzbin.info/aero/PLmOiKq9JgkRqTYsYBto8iCBAj40epZ4Yl) Be well, Jen
