Got one of these a few months ago. Great for carrying to jams or even practicing at home if you don't want to pull the whole pedal board out.

+Peter Miles yes, it works surprisingly well with accoustic guitars, makes a ton of difference through the SamsAmp instead of the dry DI of a piezo or similar. I got it as a backup unit for my main rig originally, but now it resides in the gig-bag of my accoustic and serves me well.

Got mine last month love it. Great little studio pedal. Tied for my fav with the 2 notes Le Clean. And yeah next time I go to London I don’t need to bring guitar pedals in my suitcase 😄

With an aux in, an additional headphone/recording out, 3,6 and 9db switchable compression it would be perfect. It would be a little bigger, heavier and more expensive, but they wouldn't be able to make them quick enough.

I think that Tech 21 should get into the 21st century... That's not cool that they denied you and little do they know, this type of pedal is usually only it off the box for demoing when the store has a second hand unit. That said, I take these demos as my little note sheet on what I'm looking for before I ever had to the store. Even worse is that buying online isn't going to get their product a fair chance versus the known quantities, those solid pedals that have been around as the tried and true workhorse pedal. Proof of their crap marketing is in their Para line of pedals with the DI... they're pretty darn good, but they didn't sell it to the people... EHX takes the sale. The DLA sounds like a nice addition and thanks to Gearmandude for doing their job for them!🎸

Hey GMD, thinking of getting one of these, but the bottom sounds really flubby.. my amp is already a bit too loose..( luther drive helps tighten it up a lot..thanks for that ) is it the video, or does the bottom really fall apart like that?

I bought one and you're spot on. I was not impressed with it at all. Sounded like crap with my Lester and my RG Prestige thru my EVH 5150iii clean channel.

Rory McCallum Wrong. He is going into a guitar amp, not direct into a mixing board. The Plexi is just an overdrive, the same as any overdrive pedal in front of an amp. The SansAmp is a preamp which will color the sound of the guitar amp and is not always desirable. If you're going into a mixing board or direct recording then the SansAmp would be a necessity.
