Met Tech once when I was out in New York, ran into him outside a hotel. This was about a year or so ago. What he says in this song is true. He LOVES and I mean LOVES any fan who approaches him. He'll happily shake your hand or hug you, and he offered to take a picture and ask if I wanted a signature. And he said that his fans are the reason that he can keep going, his fans push him to be able to wake up in the morning. He loves his fans more than anything. That's the biggest thing I love about Tech.

They're underground artists. It's the mainstream artists with the most exposure. These guys are humble and don't want that kind of life. Their fan count might not be as comparable to mainstream artists but we're loyal to the end. Too many underground artists have sold their souls to the public after going mainstream. The reality of life ITSELF is enough to kill someone dead emotionally, mentally, and spiritualy. Some of us are just WAITING for that physical aspect, other's can no longer bare the wait. I just had a childhood friend commit suicide and we all loved him, but he was trapped in his mind. where no one else resided but himself. We are in an emerging battle with the world, people and ESPECIALLY ourselves. Almost ALL has either thought or attempted suicide and many have had at least ONE loved one who would be there at any given moment, but sometimes, you have to understand, that those thoughts can overcome all of those beautiful memories and people we have standing for us because it is an IN THE MOMENT thought. Most have felt lonely at one time. Loved one's present or not. Life always seems like sugar to outsiders looking in. It isn't easy faking and shaking. He said he had a girlfriend. He had a loved one! He still felt alone though.
