Tech played a show in Lubbock just a few days after his mother passed. Didn't stop his tour or anything because he loves his fans and, I think in a lot of ways, he probably did it for her. I was at that show, and it was beyond reality. It even rained (which is a BIG deal in West Texas) and the lightning would coincide with the music...pure magic. R.I.P.

I am just now catching up with all of the music you put out while I was locked up in Topeka Correctional Facility. Kansas City Native here, I remember when I was younger running into you and your friends at parties, and always knowing you would make it BIG! I'm a little partial because you rep KC, but you are one of the only artists who actually creates amazing beats and lyrics that are so Origional nobody else in the biz could compare to! I lost my Dad in 08 from a heart attack brought on by his alcoholism for years,but the months before his death he got alcohol induced dementia and couldn't remember me or his Grandson, and we lived with him. It was so heartbreaking and I still haven't dealt with it all, it's burried inside of me and I just live with that black hole in my heart😔 I know that you will probably never get this but I want you to know how all these years your music has held me up in some of my darkest times. When I was locked down in segregation for 90 days I would write out your lyrics and pace in my cell while I read them aloud, and it was something about me focusing on remembering all of your lyrics that kept me from going insane. This song portrays the fear of losing a parent to an illness so accurately, its bone chilling. I used to listen to this as a teen, and while I felt the emotional I didnt understand it at all. This is the first time I've listened to this song since my dad died, and its one of the few songs that can match the despair, devastation and hopelessness of not only losing a parent, but seeing them slowly deteriorate over time. This song hit in a way I havent been hit before, even though I've listened to it millions of times. Songs can really convey emotions that you just cant put into words.

Known Tech even after his something else album his bonus dvd thr night that album dropped, in his video his first 5 minutes or so was talking about straight out of the gate and his collaboration. He specifically said he was christian, he would never doubt God's existence. He just finds hard times.

Brought tears..... My grandmother/mother. The one who raised me suffers from schizophrenia and Alzheimer's. I can only remember the great times we had while I was still growing. I'm now 19 and she's still here but barely. This hit the heart. Appreciate your loved one's while you can. Not everything is forever.

My Dad suffers from beginning Dementia but so far he knows me and my sister...... my mom passed away in 2013 and I sometimes wonders if he remembers her but I do not wish to bring her up because in some ways, this is a blessing. My parents were married for 62 years and I feel that if my Dad had to remember her loss every day, he would not be here now......... Blessings to you for this and all your great songs!!

I just found your music dawg, it kinda makes me feel like a slow deaf bitch, but it inspires me because I've been playing dead for way too long. My mama is still here, about 1500 miles away from me, and she won't let me go. I'm going through some hard tuff emotional shit with a woman who's doing everything possible to hold me down out here, while everybody at home looks up to her. I don't how much pain your choices in life caused your mama to experience before she passed, just consider that you are her, and she lives within' your voice and every move and choice you make. That's what my mama's done to me most of my life, and I've always been grateful for it. I can't imagine what it's gonna be like when I can't reach out and touch her here in the physical, but I had to cut mine off for a little while, and it hurts me to know that she would love to hear my voice right now. I lost my mom to leukemia four years ago. I bawled my eyes out when I heard this song. I can't even recall the amount of times I prayed to God for her to get better, for her not to leave me. When he says "My fear is that this God I'm praying to for my mother is not real" hits hard every time because for a long time I believed He wasn't real. Why would He take my mom away? Why wouldn't He allow for her to meet my children?
