Welcome to this week's Tech Pick of the Week where our Tech's break down an industry best product, tricks or tips.
Last week we broke down a simple haul system for light loads. In this Tech Pick, we had to rig our camera operator into a tricky place to get a clean shot.
In order to accomplish this, we built a dynamic directional with a reeve line to facilitate camera movement.
Luke Bryan walks us through some of the gear and techniques we used to set up this shot. If you have any questions on how to set up a dynamic direction pulley system or if you would like to purchase any of the gear used in this tech short visit www.rescueresponse.com. If you have any questions please call us at 888.600.9116 or email us at info@rescueresponse.com.
Happy Rigging!

The knot on your tensionless hitch should be a figure 8, never an overhand on a bight like you have. Theoretically it should be fine since that end shouldn't be loaded, but he also theoretically won't descend off the end of the rope, you still tie the right knot for it.

I was pretty surprised about the single attachment point. Isn't the backup for protection against human error? I do some caving sometimes and I'm familiar with the SRT but I would never put anyone else on a single rope if I'd have any possibility for using a backup as well. And if the backup is protection agains human error the argument that the single attachment point is very strong doesn't really sound good to me. I've never heared about any accident caused by hardware failure. It's always human error, when people use the not suitable equipment for a certain purpose or they don't do the right thing.
