In a healthy climate fires are perfectly natural, there's even such a thing as controlled/prescribed burns used to restore fertility. The issue is that climate change and negligency can fuck with the rythm. The 100 biggest companies made up for 71% of carbon emissions between 1988 and 2015 and now most of the world is setting up to go through the same process as we have in the west. If we don't make major changes regarding our consumerism culture before 2030 there will be catastrophic climate change.

Regular burning on rotation stopped wildfires getting out of hand and restored fertility (especially important in Australia because they're such an old continent their natural soil fertility is super low because no volcanic activity).

There was a time about a year ago when you did slightly less editing and put out a video every day. It was so great to wake up to your incredible game play and fun way of telling the story of the civ. But yes, this is an excellent way to go. Incidentally Indonesia is one of my favorite CIVs especially with the sea pantheon. I love that extra housing and food.

Actually thanks to you I found a useful glitch. While you're ending your turn you can move in the mean time, this looks something dummy but if you use it with the heal up of the fortification you can move and heal in the same turn and still having all the movement in the next turn. There are some other uses but just discover them :p.

The reason why you seem to keep getting the same few motifs in your games is because your computer's random number generator doesn't actually generate random numbers. It has a preprogrammed list of numbers that behave mathematically like random numbers when inspected linearly a single time, but as that list gets reused many times you will inevitably notice patterns.

Seems like the movement exploit could be pretty helpful for keeping seige units safe. You could use the exploit to move the unit into range of a city, then fire. Seems like it weakens the main downside of seige units. Am I missing something?

I'm playing a game of Civ 6 multiplayer for the first time in ages with my friends and fiancé. We're using the tech shuffle mode and my god it is a breath of fresh are into the game and keeps it feeling involved and interesting in what we normally call in our friend group "The Great Medieval-Renesance Depression". Though it has opened the skill gap in our group, those of us thinking ahead and getting specific eurekas or inspirations to work out what techs we need to research to get what we want are definately getting more than a small leg up on our "take it as it comes" friends.
