This is a story about Dovilis Paliukas and his DIY record cutting lathe, through the help of which he runs a dubplate cutting studio in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Mono Ortofon cutting head.Should produce masters & dubs of exceptional quality.Melodia Moscow used an Ortofon SV8s for mastering & their mono records were mastered with this head.[see AES report on Mercury Engineers visit to the Soviet Union in the 1960s].Melodia's Ortofon mastering lathe [mono & stereo mastering]now in use in a UK cutting room.
