Totally 100% agree. Vibe is king. If the mix is a little untidy but the vibe is there and you get emotion from it then its a good thing. I cant count the amount of times I've tried to tidy up a mix that had bags of vibe and energy only to lose all feeling once it was polished to death. If it sounds right then it is right. Music should be full of little mistakes and imperfections. The art is knowing which ones to keep. Trusting your instincts is a learned skill. Its taken me 20 years. I've finally put out an ep last friday with great reviews. Keep at it.
