Thanks for great content. Love it! I have a BIG urgent request for your Channel: Can you show how to use modx as masterkeyboard playing it live in combination with vst instruments from a computer. I have bought the modx6 and hoped to use it in Gigperformer, with a combination of build in Sound, Keyscape, vst organ etc. But I cant get the faders to send midi cc. Just the assignable knobs. And it is not very clear in the manual how to set it up in terms of different bindings in different performances. It would be very much appreciated if you can help. It has the potential of being a great midi vst midi keyboard for shows it seems, with great controllers to the left (!) in combination with all the fantastic build in sounds.

@@DragosStefan I know, but I need to use it for shows with live setup using Gigperformer. It seems that I cant assign the faders for midi functionality. At least I cant get it to work. I prefere not to use a Daw live since it takes cpu power away at gives me less flexibility compared to mainstage or Gigperformer (in my case). Do you know if buttons and faders can send midi cc at the same time from modx?

This helped me a ton - thanks a lot. One last question... Is there a way to stay in this "Remote Plugin" mode when being in Live set. It would be very convenient if you could choose a performance from a Live set setlist and be able to control parameters right away on the vst instrument - Drawbars for instance, or filters on a solo vst sound. It seems less obvious to go back and forth.

It is s pity the MODX has been already discontinued and, presumably, the Montage will be soon. They have a powerful hardware architecture which has not been fully exploited yet

Same thing happened with the SY series. Incredible scope in these FM synths as well that not many explored.

They came out with the MODX+ and now I'm waiting for the Montage+. I was really hoping to see that at NAMM 2023 but that didn't happen. Maybe this summer?

Amazing!! 3 experts showing what the synth can do but showing NOTHING on screen. If you are turning something down or up then SHOW US. Go to the page you are altering. YOU can see what you are doing but the audience cannot. If you want to learn about FM Just search for any demo of the Korg Opsix. Those youtubers will show you EVERYTHING they are doing. Yamaha is garbage and don't give a toss about you or their products. This crap is end of life. I won't be fooled again.
