Spot on Snr.! Less is definitely more when it comes to chain maintenance, keeping the rollers lubed is the key, as you said...From a former Teacher, you may not realise it, but you're seriously good at sharing your knowledge, thanks heaps mate, cheers from Sydney.

I never spray lube directly on my chain. I just spray some on a rag and wipe the chain thoroughly. I'm partial to a Teflon lube. Excess lube attracts dirt.

I remember a guy who worked at a tuning shop told me that cleaning and lubing the chain did more to the HP at the wheel than a exhaust system for 1 000 dollar.

ken, I really like your channel, I love the bikes you guys get and you guys do good work. if i was in the us i would like to see the museum. I dont think pressure washing chains is a good idea. ive found pressure washers push water in where it cant get back out. its a good way to make a chain tight ive seen it happen. same sort of thing can happen on pulleys etc.
@psyfertech Жыл бұрын
i use kerosene buy it by the jug works great saves money that motul is good stuff but you use basically a whole can every time you clean your chian
