You missed the most critical step. How do you locate and open the backup files window to find a file?

Hi Frank, We're assuming that you're pointing out about where to locate the backup folder that's set for the SolidWorks file. Which is actually mentioned around 1:20. You may go over the video one more time to review. However to go over it again - the backup folder set for SolidWorks can be found by going to Options, System Options, Backup/Recover. The current folder that has been set up to store these files will be shown here, which you can modify if you’d like to assign the saved backups to a different folder location.
