First of all, freaking BRAVO! The other vid I watched said push the two buttons and that was it! This, of course didn't do squat. That was it! Lots of yapping about his cleaning pack and no help with this issue. I'm doing the Power Cleaning now, after exhausting the nozzle business and head business. If it works, I'll be soooooo grateful! If not, I'm still grateful and sending the thing back! It has NEVER printed! The inks are full. Deep breath! IT FLIPPING WORKED!!! AAAAAMEN! Thank you, sir! PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

I am doing it right now. Yesterday the printers shop (refilling shop) didn't told me about it. Maybe they don't know because they print a lot. ;) They told me to print more. If the power cleaning don't work, I have to say thank you anyway.

Power cleaning actually recharges the tubing to the print nozzles like a 1st time install. It is very important to do a power cleaning if you have used a nozzle cleaning kit and nozzle check still shows voids.

He saved your wallet, not the printer's life, because Epson wants you to throw away a perfectly fine, and expensive printer, just to get another one, or they would have made it easier to power, among other thing. Much like banks encourage people to overdraw, make hundreds of millions. This is what the world has come to, where every man a company are for themselves.

Thank you so much for your useful video and subscriber comments. I had done so many nozzle checks and head cleanings for weeks. I would get one color or another that just wouldn't print, even though it printed just the day before. Drove me nuts that the colors would change as to which one wouldn't print that day. I didn't want to do the power cleanings because I had read that they were not advised. I finally figured I HAD to run the power cleaning as the last resort. It worked!! Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge!

Thank you so much. I've been trying to sort for a few days now. I forgot to reset my ink levels after I last filled up a few months back so figured that maybe did something so ran the head and nozzle checks a few times but nothing changed. I've just ran the power cleaning and the nozzle check and all is now good, I think I will wait the 12 hours before topping up my ink and resetting the ink levels. Great video and saved me buying a new printer.

I've been doing the cleaning wrong the whole time I would do the regular nozzle cleaning about 15 times to fix it before haha

Many ET-2750 has a software fault that prevent the operation of power cleaning ( and normal start) , I found that just tilting the printer in all directions , one after the other, up to about 60-70 degrees had an excellent cleaning effect. The printer became as good as new. Epson suggest to get the software fixed but it is too expensive my service center says.

The lines were all clean after multiple cleanings but it still is not printing all the colors. My black tank is full and the colors are 1/2 full. Any ideas?

I just did this, and before I did, the printer stated that I had to replace the Maintenance Box which collects waste ink. My tank was almost full. You should also have over one third in the ink tanks so you don’t run dry.

After powering down, tried holding the question mark and power button but NO menu came up asking if I wanted to power clean!?!! Why?? I can't run a power clean if never given the option from the printer menu. Ughhhhhhh

I'm doing this at this very moment of typing this comment, and hopefully I'll get the same results you showed in this video, but thanks just the same even if it doesn't work, because at least I learned how to power, clean after getting that, go to website message, that I couldn't figure out for the life of me. Big Thanks!!! OK, just finished, and my results was another error message. An E- 01 error. Saying, Non-printing features are available, 00021. Though I think I disconnected something while cleaning it earlier, to unclog the black ink.

The instructions say to run a nozzle check right after the power cleaning. This is to see if it fixed the problem. If it did fix the problem, then I think you are fine to use the printer right way. If it didn't solve the problem, the manual says to turn off the printer and wait for 12 hours before running another power clean. Good luck! Below is a copy/paste from my printers manual. Note: After a Power Cleaning, you must turn off the product and wait at least 12 hours before running another Power Cleaning.

My ET-2850 would not go into the Power Cleaning mode by pressing the Power and Question Mark button. There's a page for it in the Troubleshooting screen, though, right after Clean Print Head.

How many times can you do a power cleaning? Little lines or faded color will show up only at the very end of the printed photo it’s so frustrating.

Epson 2780 here. Tried it and it never went into Power Clean mode. Tried every video on Power Clean and think this printer has a flaw that it cannot power clean. I'm tired of waiting 12 hours every day. Never again will i buy an epson
