Tech Tips: How to Resolve a 5 Time Flash (L)

Is it possible for the whole system to shut down do to overheating if the outside temp goes over 85 degrees? And the system running add on to that temp around it?

sometimes it runs for a week with no issues. or it runs for a few hours and faults with 5 blink overcurrent. chkd the recall function with remote and its an overcurrent.

And after You get the 5x flash black diamonds industries( mitsubishi electric) won't wana know ya and recommend you buy a whole new unit even though your $6000 unit was installed 5.5 years ago ( Just out of warrenty)

Hi, if this is a board issue, is it the outdoor PCB, or could it be the indoor PCB board?

Thank you for the great videos. Well done!! Would you be able to show how to diagnose and change a condenser fan or the power board? 13 times red LED (1) flash with amber LED unlit. Item is fan abnormality. Possible fan motor or board failure? Thank you so much.
