I've been seeing in the fleet challenges the star icon of superships. Someone also pointed that out a while back. It does seem that superships will likely be in Blitz.

We'll see, I doubt bots can actually use ship skills. I've never seen one smoking up or using sonar (you can tell by the visual cues), so I don't think it's likely they'll use burst fire. Also, bots are stock, i.e. they don't have blueprints, modules, supplies or commanders, making them inherently weaker than player counterparts.

as a spanish I'm very interested in the tech tree, and surprised by the amount of Spanish flags there are 😂, also the pronunciation of the names was quite good good (The Andalucía 3:01 is pronounced more like the 2nd time ;) )

Quick Question: I almost have enough steel for the Atlanta and was wondering if you have tips on how to play because your videos on the Austin are years old?

If you've got any experience with the PA CLs, Atlanta fits right in. You have a large amount of destroyer-calibre guns, so you're not going to do much with AP unless you're hitting enemy DDs. She has no armour, and little health, so she takes very poorly to getting shot at. Unlike Flint, which is a later variant, she still has her wing turrets, so you can get a decent amount of barrels on target even bow- or stern-in. The torpedoes are a nice afterthought, but you generally want to focus on dodging and HE spam. Good ship in capable hands, but requires good situational awareness to survive.

Yeah, that'll be interesting. I'll have a review for T9 coming up on Thursday, and it's not pretty, so I'm very curious to see how T10 holds up, going to be all about the base range and AP performance.

I have the Baleares, the Tier VI Spanish cruiser, basically where you get the 203mm guns, but not yet the Burst Fire. I like the Baleares in PC, since for the most part, I can still get fires whenever RNG is especially generous, but they're alright in HE spamming roles. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on these cruisers, they look fun.

I haven't tried the HE on those, since the AP on the T7 was just excellent, I felt like I was playing a Hipper tbh. As for the whole line, I still have the T9 review coming out on Thursday, and without giving too much away, it wasn't on par with the T7. I've tested T5, but didn't manage to get the review done, but T5 was great, Königsberg level. No rapid fire until 7, though. We'll see what T8 and 10 will bring, so far, it's a big thumbs up for 5 & 7 from me, but the stats for 10 from PC don't fill me with confidence. We'll see when I get my hands on them.

Interesting game mechanic. I am wondering how they got this idea, I mean, in reality how that could even work, gun operator on LSD, 2 shells in the tube, or double trigger 😂

I like to think of it as a Jutland-style unsafe storage, where they have shells for two salvos in the turret, but have to lock down the ammo hoists to prevent potential blowback. So after they fired both in rapid succession, they need to let things cool down and unlock the regular operation mechanisms.

It does come with drawbacks, since you lose dpm overall from the longer reload. That said, there are situations when you can take advantage, like when you really need the kill, or are about to go into cover. And getting 16 of those shells down range almost at once can do a lot of damage.

I find that the burst fire mode could be better, it's not quite as intuitive as the PC version in my opinion.

It took me a second to figure out the control, but it's quite simple once you got the idea that it's a mode switch, rather than a skill / consumable. Becomes natural after a couple of rounds.

I don't know about superships, but given how closely we've been following PC when it comes to ship releases, and with the new mechanics we've seen coming in, I wouldn't be surprised to see T11s.

I often notice that you use really easily your sonars, often really early too. Just saying 😊 maybe am too paranoid as I prefer to use it when am spotted and don't see the treat

Depends a bit on the ship. With a sonar build like this, and a faster cooldown, I'm often quite liberal. I prefer early detection of torps not just for myself, but also for my team. If I only have a few charges, I use it more sparingly.

Actually, the Spanish cruisers on PC from T7 onwards have the rapid fire mechanic as well, on top of some of the superships. It's refreshing to see new mechanics here, on top of the usual ship skill remix.
