World of Warships Blitz - Tech Tree Talk : Dutch Cruisers

We have a new tech tree line - well, a preview thereof - the Dutch cruisers. After the "De Zeven Provinciën" being sliiightly overpowered, I'm very curious to see what the free versions are looking like.

T6 isn't that different, and I haven't played the lower tiers, but 7 can be quite fun, even with the single bomber squadron. When you're low on hp, you can still camp an island, and be useful.

As for the Dauntless Dive, I've contacted support and asked them about that commander skill and they said that "they have no details about future plans on this skill." So, likely it will not work and i would just go for HE penetration. (19:18) Extinguisher makes sense as the De Zeven can take fire damage pretty often when you have CVs targeting you or enemy crusiers are using HE, so I assume the same will go for the other cruisers.

I won't yet, personally, I want to get the IJN lines done first. I'm actually quite curious to see how the concept will carry beyond T8, though. I was originally thinking of keeping the De Witt till I see the T10, but I may pull it in for next week just to try it.

Just so you know the tier ten will have a precise aim 1x2 so the comander skills that enhance how many you have and extend the duration and reduce the reaload time of them may be useful

Hi wanna ask if after obtaining a Dutch crusier,is there a requirement to use blueprint to upgrade for the airstrike bomber?

Currently on the kijkduin Huge improvement from the celebes, not good at aiming with the bombers

It's kinda weird having light cruiser in tier 1-7 and then you got what look like heavy/super cruiser at tier 8,9 and probably 10

Similar to the old Soviet line, where you'd have Chapayev at 8, and then Moskva at 10. I'm generally very critical of supercruisers, so I'm curious to see how the T9 works out.

The Dutch tech tree isn't released yet, these were ships in a preview event. I don't have a date, but I'd expect the Dutch cruisers to come out soon.

De Ruyter & Celebes are, while can tank a bit thanks to their high hp, can't hit back to their attacker.

Nice ships fun,but bomber skill takes time to get right and its a skill you have to work at.the Haarlem is a nice ship.but the guns are meh,not impressed with them.she needs a set secondary guns to defend against dd charges.over the air strike skill is a fun skill but a tad on slow side.she is durable though it is fun.

They will add another Friesland class ship for Dutch, the Groningen.

Yeah, Friesland is a post-war Dutch destroyer AFAIR, but the Dutch line didn't exist back then, and it kinda fits in with the IKEA boats with that AA.

i think dutch cruiser more rational than dzp ( it just a broken ship, tier 8 have aa of worcester @@ ), they have skill airstrike too op with hide mountain tactic but the armor too weak ( like atlanta ) so they scare another cl

I didn't use the chat much, but I'm aware that that's something quite a few people are sorely missing. Definitely something we've passed on. As for the size of the playerbase, I don't have data on that. I think it's mostly the matchmaker that's too aggressive, leading to frequent bots in games. That's a topic I'm planning to make a video about soon (the bots).

This event I must say is an absolute sham, there is no possible way to get the tier 8 dutch cruiser through normal grinding. There's not even an event crate key that you can buy from the shop! Not too happy about this event.

Im kinda happy they are not op like d7p when it came out, still has too fast/many bomb spams.. i can only say t4 is a stinker and the fun starts t8 but its still more a supporter not a carry machine.. aa isnt even that good

Most of everyone has got too many ships in their shipyard to play with after all these years and a lot of them just fill up useless spots in their shipyard. These days we need something inspiring to waste more money on and this Dutch lineup just doesn’t cut it at all. Better Commanders for one thing, is much more valuable than lipstick on a pig boats that are just more of the same nonsense.
